ABOUT

Oh, hey! You'd like to know a bit more about me and my work? That's wonderful, I'm happy to hear! So, let's start at the beginning.

I have been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil. Some of my earliest memories are of me scribbling with pencils in a biiig sketchbook with white pages, just doodling and writing words, albeit writing some letters wrong as any five-year-old would.

Growing up, I was constantly drawing. At the early stages of my artistic journey, I focused on practicing traditional drawing with pencil, charcoal, pens, and learning the art fundamentals - composition, proportions, shading, perspective. Along with that, I got my first digital tablet in my early teen years, and that was the kick-off point of my digital art journey.

Building upon this foundation, I went on to develop my skills further by studying digital media in university. I got a bachelor's in Digital Arts and Entertainment, where I specialized in stylized design, 3D production and video post-production.

In my career as a professional artist after uni, I worked on various projects ranging from video effects for marketing, to full-on 3D productions for light projections on buildings, to making assets and graphic elements for games. And in all of my professional work so far, the most important and impactful factor to me has been seeing people's smiles, their enjoyment of what I have created and them experiencing happiness because of my artwork.

So this is how we got to the present moment - I founded Monn's Atelier and embarked on my mission to create art that makes people happy.

While I love working with digital media, I also very much love the traditional feel of art - having a physical piece that you can hold, wear, have and enjoy. This is why I combine both worlds, while putting eeeverything I have learned into practice and also keep developing, in the pursuit of my mission.

It is my hope that with Monn's Atelier on my road to multiplying and using my gifts to spread positivity, that you have had a smile be brought to your face through the work of my hands.
